Nayanthara is getting married to Prabhudeva

Nayanthara, the South Indian Actress, is getting married to Prabhu Deva, actor and choreographer of the South Indian Film industry. After a long controversial period, Prabhudeva signed the mutual divorce petition with his first wife Ramlath on the last December on the Chennai family court. The proceedings at the Chennai court will be over by June, report says. Marriage will be held in Chennai probably on July itself, reports add.

Jayan is Again on Silver Screen!!

Jayan, the evergreen hero of Malayalam film, is coming back to the big screen! The movie is titled to be “Avatharam” in which Jayan is recreated by 12 Hollywood technicians, Vijeesh Mani, the Director of the movie said. Some new Technologies and animation techniques are used in the movie to recreate the eternal idol in the new outlooks. Production designer of Hollywood films Richard Holley and Jayan’s nephew and animation expert Kannan Nair will also work for the movie. Kalabhavan Mani, Harisree Asokan, Bheeman Reghu, Swetha Menon etc are casted in the movie. Lyrics by Vayalar Sarthchandra Varma and music is done by Sanjay Chowdhari. Sudheer. The movie would have five songs including one in Arabic. M.Ramachandra Menon, and Rajesh Attukal will be the producers and is the expected budget is approximately 3 crores. The first shoot will be held on February 15th and will be completed in three months. The film is expected to be a new experience to the Malayalam Film viewers. |

The hit maker of the 80s, Director Fazil is coming back with an youth oriented movie titled as “Living Together”. The lyrics of Kaithapram and music of M. Jayachandran made the movie a musical entertainment also. K. J Yesudas, M.G Sreekumar, Vijay Yesudas, Shreya Goshal, Swetha Mohan, Karthick, Sudheep Kumar and Anila are the play back singers. Living together is produced by Pilakkandi Muhammad Basheer under the banner of Pilakkandi Films International. Hemanth and Sreelekha has selected to do the lead roles in the movie. V.K.Prakash, maker of the successful movie Gulumal is again on big screen with “Three Kings”. The film is produced by Abdul Nasar under the banner of K.N.M. Films. Indrajith, Jayasoorya and Kunchakko Boban play the leading roles in the film and Sandhya, Samvrutha and Ann Augustine are doing the female lead roles. The film tells the story of three brothers and it will be a humor based story. Jagathi Sreekumar, Asok, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salim Kumar, Sreejith Ravi, Balachandran Chullikadu, Lishoy, V.P. Gaddama will be on theaters on February 4th. It is named after the domestic women workers in the Arab Countries and Kavya Madhavan has done the title role in the film. Sreenivasan is doing the male lead role in the film. P. V. Pradeep has produced the film under the banner of Anitha Productions. Renowned Director Kamal directed the movie and he wrote the script in association with K. Gireesh Kumar. It is based on the story of K. U. Iqbal and the music is done by Bennet veetrag. Nadiaya Moythu, the Malayalam and Tamil film actress is coming back to the Malayalam Movie with “Doubles” in which she plays a role of the sibling of Mammootty. She made her reentry in films through a Tamil blockbuster hit M. Kumaran Son Of Mahalakshmi.. The film received critical acclaim for her performance as Jeyam Ravi's mother. The movie Doubles would be produced by K. K. Narayan Das under the banner of Reel on Wheels, and Sohan Seenu Lal, an upcoming director is directing the film. Sachi and Sethu will be the Script Writers and James Vasanth will compose the music. Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma will be the lyricist. Thapasi is acting as the heroine and she has the role of the one who is coming in between the possessing twins – Mammootty and Nadiya. The main location is fixed as Pondicheri, reports says. 20 years has gone since P. Padmarajan,is not with us.The legend who never needs an introduction to Malayalam Film Lovers; Author, script writer, film maker, AIR news reader, the list of areas of his successful and short life was endless. His untimely death at the age of 45 was a shocking news to the Keralites and the pain is still growing. The loss to the film industry is still remains irrecoverable. His first directed movie was Peruvazhiyambalam and the last was Njan Gandharvan. Oridathoru Phylvaan, Thoovanathumpikal , Namukku Parkkan Munthirithoppukal, Moonnam pakkam etc are some of his masterpiece works which are the classics and an experience to the viewers. His sudden death which occurred at the Paramount Tower, Calicut in 1991 January, 24, took away an unchallenging talent from the world, but he still remains immortal in the minds of thousands. |
